Activision Blizzard has finally released the much-anticipated Overwatch League 2022 schedule. This is great news for fans of the popular first-person shooter game, as they now have a better idea of when to expect their favorite teams to compete. The league will be divided into four stages, each lasting five weeks. Stage 1 will occur from February 9 to March 13, Stage 2 from April 6 to May 8, Stage 3 from June 1 to July 3, and Stage 4 from August 3 to September 4. The playoffs will then be held from September 16 to October 10.

As for the regular season according to Activision Blizzard, 28 matches will be played in each stage. That means that there will be 140 regular-season matches in the Overwatch League 2022 season. At the end of each stage, the top eight teams will then advance to the playoffs. The first-place team at the end of Stage 1 will earn a bye to the semifinals, while the second and third place teams will earn byes to the quarterfinals.

The fourth through seventh-place teams will then face off in the first round of the playoffs, with the winner advancing to the quarterfinals. The loser of that match will be eliminated from the playoffs. The full schedule for the Overwatch League 2022 season can be found on the official website.

So far, no teams have been announced for the 2022 season. However, it is expected that many of the same teams that competed in the 2021 season will return. These include the Shanghai Dragons, San Francisco Shock, Seoul Dynasty, Dallas Fuel, and London Spitfire. It is also possible that some new teams will be added to the league for the upcoming season.
