Today, he acts as the Chief Executive Officer of Brazil’s, Horizons Telecom, which, since its inception in 2010, has directly influenced and furthered numerous markets throughout the area.
Haroldo Jacobovicz’s road to success was one replete with obstacles–a fact that has only increased and refined his process throughout his journey. The son of two civil engineers, he originally sought to follow in the footsteps of his parents, as he admired their work ethic and ability to create monumental structures throughout the country. It was during his time studying at the Federal University of Parana, that his trajectory was altered forever.
After learning about information technology and its potential growth, he decided that civil engineering would have to take a backseat. Prior to graduating, Haroldo Jacobovicz and several friends decided to launch Microsystem, marketing their services to a variety of small businesses in the area. Although the venture didn’t yield the expected profits, it did allow him to restructure his thought process, while refining his method.
In 2020, Haroldo Jacobovicz once again expanded his vision, adding Horizons Datacenter to his existing Horizons Telecom umbrella. With no intention to slow down, he recently noticed a trend that has begun sweeping across a number of industries and markets–the subscription-based model. Many industry titans, such as Amazon and Microsoft, have begun implementing this model at a higher rate, across a variety of their offerings.
