Vegan Doughnuts are Joining the Inception Trend

There have been a number of “inception” pizzas popping up in the restaurant world lately. These pizzas are presented inside of a box that is also made of pizza, and come with smaller pieces of pizza on top. It’s pretty fascinating, and is a dream come true for pizza lovers.

Now the trend has moved to desserts, and there’s an inception doughnut. The Cinnamon Snail, a vegan food truck that has transformed into a gourmet food court shop has creation the eye-catching doughnut, and it’s just as tasty as it is beautiful. The doughnut is available at the Pennsy food court, and is stuffed with raspberry maple filling and adorned with colorful sprinkle. Of course, the inception doughnut also has mini doughnuts on top, which are topped by even tinier doughnuts.

The doughnut costs $7, and Cinnamon Snail isn’t giving up the secret when it comes to how the dessert is made. The bakers claim that a “gaggle of wild unicorns” come through their Brooklyn castle made of clouds at night when no one can see. The unicorns then sprinkle magic dust on “regular” doughnuts to “inception-ize” them. They claim that this is perfectly find with the Department of Health, so New Yorkers need not worry.

The inception doughnut is available for a limited time only. It’s best to get to the bakery as early as possible, as the treats will be first come, first served. We’re guessing this is a challenge that many of New York’s foodies will gladly meet.
