Four Seasons Restaurant
Unique designs and elegant space are the words that can appropriately describe the Four Seasons restaurant. The restaurant, to date, incorporates designs created by Philip Johnson in 1959. His creative mind is responsible for the Japanese style pool in the middle of the dining room, the metal chain curtains and design of the custom bar stools and chairs. A visit to the restaurant by a modern day designer for a meal is bound to turn into a field trip.
With regards to space, the restaurant has a pool room, grill room and private rooms. The pool room makes a great spot for a romantic dinner whereas the grilled room is ideal for power lunches. Its private rooms are the perfect place to hold big special events like graduations and engagements.
Making it stand out even more is its great location. It is housed in Mies Van Der Rohe’s building and the high prices attracts Upper Eastside citizens and the business class.
The Red Farm is the place to dash to for artfully prepared fish, delicious dim sum, and fresh green market product. Its chef, Joe Ng, puts a special touch on his food. Two of its standout foods, from the dim sum collection, are the Pack Man shrimp dumplings and duck spring rolls. The two are not only delicious and refreshing, but also worth posting on Instagram. The restaurant does not take reservations but rather works on a first come first served basis. For large groups, the restaurant has private spaces and prix-fixe menus. The Red Farm has two branches, one in the West Village and another at Upper West Side.
Tarallucci e Vino
The Tarallucci is a unique location to hold personal or corporate events. Not only do they provide ample space, but they also create a perfect menu that matches the event. Its chef, Riccardo Billota, creates menus that are inspired by a blend of modern culinary methods and traditional Italian cuisine. The restaurant relies on produce from the Union Square Market and its network of local purveyors to ensure availability of in-season produce. Its wine selection is a reflection of its commitment to family ran vineyards in Italy.
The Tarallucci is located in Union Square and offers two beautiful spaces for holding events. One of them is the Mezzanine. It is best suited for a small private gathering of approximately 30 guests. The room is warm and exudes class. It has a lounge area, antique cabinets, custom brick tables and unique mirrors and artwork. The second space is an elegant loft. It can be used for any event, business or otherwise, holding up to 120 guests. It is furnished with stunning chandeliers, custom-made tables, lounge area, antique mirrors and a bar.
The Taralucci e Vino has made a name for itself in the hospitality industry through offering great private event spaces. Its client list can prove that. They include Design Within Reach, Harvard and Google. Its space makes them comfortable and the food keeps them coming back.
