OSI Industries Specializes In Custom Food Processing

OSI Industries exploded onto the international scene due to its working relationship with McDonald’s. OSI began as one of several hundred meat suppliers to the power house restaurant chain. Over the years their innovations set them apart from other manufacturers and they eventually became the primary supplier of meat patties to McDonald’s. OSI eventually developed the capabilities to accommodate other types of food industry operators. They have a client list that includes Pizza Hut, Papa John’s Pizza, Starbucks and Subway. OSI currently manufactures other products beside meat patties that include hot dogs, bacon, fish, pizza, poultry and vegetables.

OSI Industries’ influence in the food manufacturing industry continues to grow as they have reached out and acquired other companies to diversify their production capabilities. Baho Foods and Flagship Food Group were two acquisitions made by OSI in order to strengthen their presence in Europe. Each of these companies bring a unique product manufacturing line that will allow OSI to have a bigger hand in the market share.

Flagship Food Group’s product line includes frozen poultry, Oliver James pies, dressings and mayonnaise. They have been a long-time supplier of products throughout the UK. The relationship with OSI Industries will allow them to expand their reach and develop their own acquisitions, which includes Calder Foods. Calder Foods produces a line of sandwich fillings and dips.
