They have a fantastic upstairs private room for small groups. This place has french fries that are to die for and a very tasty brunch as well. The Pig’s cuisine could be categorized as New American, but we just like to call it “yummy”. They’re open for brunch, lunch, dinner, and late night snacks from noon to 5pm, closed for a half hour, and then open from 5:30pm until 2am on weekdays. It’s the same on weekends, but they don’t open until 11am.
The Red Farm is the place to go in the West Village at 2170 Broadway, Upper West Side. Chef Joe Ng’s diverse menu puts the main focus on his yummy dim sum creations, like duck spring rolls or Pac Man shrimp dumplings, fresh greenmarket products, and skillfully prepared fish. And, the chef’s veggie fried rice with Lobster Long Life noodles are simply the best ever. Their private rooms are great for large groups and they can even put together a table d’hôte menu for your group. What could be more perfect for that special meeting? They’re categorized as Chinese and open weekdays from 11:30am to 3pm, closed until 4:45pm and then open until 11:45pm. They open later on weekends at 11am, then the hours are the same, but they close at 10:30pm on Sundays. They serve brunch, lunch, and dinners and are a great place for both kids and large groups. On top of that, they actually take reservations, which is sometimes hard to find these days.
We saved the best for last to tell you about a spacious place in Union Square with not just one, but two amazing event spaces. You should definitely try the very Italian Tarallucci e Vino for your next event, whether it’s a birthday party or a business presentation. You can always count on Tarallucci e Vino when it comes to creating a truly inspired menu for your event. The chef artfully mixes his up-to-date culinary techniques with Italian cuisines that is traditional as it gets.
The two private events spaces include the 6th Floor Loft, which is available for all types of events. It’s not only tastefully decorated, but also quite spacious and can accommodate 50 to 120 people. And, you’ll love the antique mirrors, custom-made tables, and blingy chandeliers in the lounge and bar area. The second is a bit more intimate for groups of 30 to 80. You’ll find it to be cozy yet sophisticated, the kind of place where all of your guests will feel quite at home during your event. The space has a wine cellar, antiques, lounge area and bar, as well as amazing artwork and mirrors.
